The National Executive wish to update you on both the Public Service (Pay) Agreement 2024 – 2026 and the Midlands (Rosters) Working Time Agreement 2024.
Rosters
The National Executive received the finalised version of the Midlands Working Time Agreement 2024 from Garda Management on the 8th of April 2024.
The outstanding clarifications which delayed the publication of the finalised agreement have now been addressed by the facilitator and Garda Management to the satisfaction of the National Executive who have subsequently agreed to proceed to a ballot of the membership on the Midlands Working Time Agreement 2024 with a recommendation in favour of acceptance.

Pay
As you aware the National Executive, having previously received clarification from the Department of Justice had concerns with the Public Service Pay Agreement 2024-2026. The National Executive have now agreed to proceed to a ballot of the membership on the Pay Proposal with a recommendation in favour of acceptance.

Regional Briefings
A series of regional briefings on both the Rosters Proposal and the Public Service Pay Agreement 2024 – 2026 are currently underway. The AGSI Roster and Pay Committees have provided two regional briefings earlier this week and are scheduled to provide a further seven detailed briefings on both Rosters and the Pay proposals to the AGSI membership as listed below.

Ballot
The Midlands Working Time Agreement 2024 and the Public Service (Pay) Agreement 2024 – 2026 will both now proceed to a ballot of the AGSI membership commencing on the 17th of April 2024.
The closing date for the receipt of ballot papers is the 8th of May 2024, with an expected result on the 9th/10th of May 2024. The National Executive encourage all members to utilise their votes in both of these critically important matters.
