The National Executive would like your feedback on morale within the force from your perspective. As frontline supervisors it’s important we collect, collate and communicate the true feeling on the ground to Garda Management, Government and the public vis-a-vis the media.
We often hear the media speculate about morale and how it’s at ‘at an all time low’ but this has become a media cliche and the impact is lost on the general public. Therefore, we want to dig deeper, get a better insight into the true state of morale among our membership.
We have compiled a survey which we are asking you to complete in full by Wednesday 16th December at 4.00pm after which we will collate the data and share the results with you.
The data is also being used for an upcoming meeting with Garda Commissioner Noirin O’Sullivan and it will also provide us with evidence-based arguments as part of our lobbying campaign on the Lansdowne Road Agreement.
