You will remember that a grace period within which public servants can retire under the terms and conditions which they held prior to the pay reductions under the Financial Emergency Measures in the Public Interest (FEMPI) Act 2013 was previously extended to June 2016.
Following enquiries with the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform, AGSI have been advised that the grace period whereby public servants can retire with pension and lump sum based on their salary as of June 2013 has been extended to April 2019.
