Representing 2,500 Sergeants & Inspectors
AGSI represents 2,400 members in 31 Branches nationwide. The 13-person National Executive along with the General Secretary and Deputy General Secretary deliver the strategic aims of the Association. Our key role is to advocate for, and represent our members, at various levels including Garda Management, Government, GSOC and on various Sub Committees. Members benefit from a range of AGSI services including, representation at local and national level, legal advocacy at local level and legal aid assistance, regular communications on matters affecting pay, conditions and changes in the workplace. Additionally members can avail of insurance services negotiated through AGSI for their benefit.
