While President Obama attended the G8 Summit in Enniskillen last month, his wife Michelle and two daughters Malia and Sasha stayed in the Shelbourne Hotel in Dublin City Centre.
AGSI staff member and photographer Alan Dowley paid a visit to St Stephens Green on Tuesday 18th June and came across a number of AGSI members on duty outside the Shelbourne Hotel.
It was not possible to get a glimpse of Michelle due to tight security however he managed to get a wave from her as she drove by on her way to the 6th Century Monastic site in Glendalough in Co. Wicklow.
