Jerome Reilly writing in today’s Sunday Independent (31 March 2013) reports that cuts to Garda allowances will impact pensionable salaries, compounding the fears of members of AGSI and GRA further.
Jerome Reilly says, “that while special allowances in the private sector rarely form part of the final pensionable salary, there is a different regime in the public service.”
