Sgt. Michael Browne Kildare Retires

After 30 years dedicated service and not a day more Sergeant Michael Browne, Kildare retired from An Garda Síochána and AGSI. Michael was the AGSI Branch Secretary for Kildare.

 

On Thursday 9th of January Kildare Branch held their AGM in Lawlor’s Hotel, Naas. Despite the fact that Michael retired on the 4th of January he was present at the meeting and read the 2013 Secretary’s Report.

 

Tributes were paid to Michael by Chairman Gerry Goode who thanked him for all his help and support over the years. These sentiments were echoed by Treasurer Patsy Glennon.

 

President Tim Galvin, General Secretary John Redmond and Deputy General Secretary John Jacob along with members of the National Executive wish Michael good health in the future and a long and enjoyable retirement.
