Retirement of Mark Tobin – Meath Branch

0

Mark Tobin who was the Sergeant In Charge of Slane, Co Meath retired from An Garda Síochána on Friday 10th of October after 32 years of dedicated service.

Mark was a Community Sergeant and was popular with the people of Slane if the numbers who turned up at his retirement is anything to judge by. He has overseen a number of Rock Concerts and his district Officer Michel Devin commented on Mark’s ability to sort out problems by talking to people.
Mark was a member of the Meath Branch of AGSI and attended his last meeting in the Knightsbrook Hotel on Friday 3rd of October when the local branch met with the Conference Organising Committee in preparation for the Annual delegate Conference 2015.

Mark will be missed by his colleagues and friends. We wish him well in his retirement.
