DPERS has published the results of their review of allowances in the Public Sector, including An Garda Síochána. AGSI has sought an explaination from Management on the proposals.- a meeting date is awaited . Garda management say they are waiting for clarification from the Department of Justice and Defence.
Rent allowance will not be removed from current members of An Garda Síochána.
