The 37th Annual Delegate Conference of the Association of Garda Sergeants & Inspectors will take place in Trim, Co. Meath next year.
The 3-day event takes place on Monday March 30th, Tuesday 31st and Wednesday April 1st 2015 at the Knightsbrook Hotel.
The Specialist Committee who oversee conference is chaired by Vice-President Antoinette Cunningham. Speaking from Trim during a recent visit, Antoinette said, “We know that next year’s conference will be one which will focus on the reform of the Garda organisation.
“We just had our mid-term review event in Dublin attended by 150 delegates and there is no doubt that there are some of the biggest issues affecting our organisation coming down the tracks. With that in mind we will be ensuring Conference 2015 takes a deeper look at the people, politics and policies steering the ship of policing in Ireland. However, at the core of any reform must be the views of our members and this is always the central plank of the AGSI’s message to Government and Garda Management.”
